In order to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important elaboration on education, and promote the construction of normal majors to a higher level, Jiangsu University has added the course Research on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Elaboration About Education. On October 9^th, on the basis of careful preparation in the early stage, the first lecture of the course was carried out smoothly in Room 401, Sanjiang Building. The main lecturer was Professor Li Li, Dean of Marxism School, and the teaching object was all students majoring in ideological and political education (normal education) at Grade 18. Mei Qiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of the university, delivered a speech. Meanwhile, all the leaders of Marxism School and all the teachers of this course attended the class.

Research on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Elaboration About Education is a compulsory course for students of normal major into teachers. As the main college undertook the task of this course, striving to make this course a first-class course, the Marxism School not only has a strong organization and quick action, but also has carefully planned and arranged the teaching contents and plans.
