In order to implement the spirit of General Secretary Jin Ping’s important article Ideological and Political Course is the Key Course for the Implementation of the Fundamental Task of Moral Education, and to promote the teaching reform of ideological and political courses to achieve practical results.On September 6th, Professor Wu Mingyong, Dean of the School of Marxism, Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, was invited to the Schoolto give a symposium on Exploration and Practice of Comprehensive Reform of Ideological and Political Courses in Colleges and Universities. The lecture was presided over by Professor Li Li, Dean of MarxismSchool in Jiangsu University, and attended by Professor Jiang Junming, vice President, Director and Deputy Director of teaching and research section, and some teacher representativesattended the event.
Wu Mingyong introduced the reform practice and exploration of the ideological and political course of Marxism School in Shaanxi University of Science and Technology from these aspects, including the origin of reform, the concept and thinking of reform, the concrete measures of reform, and the actual effect of reform. In his view, the reform of ideological and political courses must pay attention to problem consciousness and systematization, and shared the specific methods and experiences of hisUniversity’s ideological and political reforms in three aspects: thematic teaching, project-based practice and diversified examinations.
After the symposium, President Wu had an in-depth exchange with the teachers of ideological and political courses in our School on how to carry out the spirit of Xi Jinping’s speech at the forum on ideological and political courses in the new era, to deeply understand the relationship between knowledge instillation and ideological guidance, to carry out collective lesson preparation, and to jointly promote the courses with ideology and politic.
